Book, water color, glass printing,
31.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 22cm
I have ground a blown glass object. With the rim of the object I printed an impression into the book. After about 3 millimeters grainding, I again made an imprint with the edge of the object in the book, on the following page. I did that until each page of the book was printed and the glass object had disappeared except for a small slice. The glass object no longer exists, except for a small left-over. It was transformed into a book, into colour and paper, into prints. Each individual print is also a testimony of the disappearance of the object, on the other hand, independently of the object it becomes new identity.
